Learning about each other's situation is one step in facilitating partnerships and networking. We have embarked on a project of compiling information on the situation of young people in the Euro-Mediterranean area. What makes this study unique is that it reflects the situation of young people as seen by young people, not by academics, government officials or experts.

The information was collected by asking applicants to Platform activities: 'What is the situation of young people in your country?' Therefore opinions expressed reflect the views of their writers, and not necessarily of the Euro-Mediterranean Youth Platform. Further opinions will be added in line with other Platform activities.

We hope that this information is useful for anyone trying to organise activities with young people in these countries.
