SALTO-YOUTH EUROMED is looking for 1 author for a publication about “Green skills in EuroMed” in English. This publication will be part of the collection “Practical Guides “of SALTO-YOUTH EUROMED, have a look here for the last Practical Guide:

This collection aims to support the cooperation within EuroMed area providing educational tools to youth workers, youth leaders and trainers.

The “Green skills in EuroMed” practical guide should provide to the readers:
• a quick overview about what is Youth in Action (Action 3.1) and Euro-Med Youth Programme IV (the text has not to be more than a general introduction – samples are available)
• An overview about the challenge of such topic within Euro Mediterranean area (why this practical guide is important in EuroMed?);
• an overview about “green skills” (historical background, definition and educational approaches) and the development, at European level, of a Policy about green skills and training activities;
• indications about how create and run educational tools in EuroMed for developing and foster green skills within group of young people;
• Some useful links and a short bibliography
• The text should include schemes.

The format of this publication will be 12 pages in A5. The text to submit to SALTO-YOUTH EUROMED should be 5000 words.

Deadline for 1st draft: 31 October 2011

Deadline for final draft: 31 November 2011

The publication will be translated by SALTO-YOUTH EUROMED in French and Arabic.

Fees: 1000 euro.
